विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक के शिल्पी एकनाथ रानडे "22 अगस्त/पुण्यतिथि" #हरदिनपावन 

एकनाथ रानडे का जन्म 19 नवम्बर, 1914 को ग्राम टिलटिला (जिला अमरावती, महाराष्ट्र) में हुआ था। पढ़ने के लिए वे अपने बड़े भाई के पास नागपुर आ गये। वहीं उनका सम्पर्क डा. हेडगेवार से हुआ। वे बचपन से ही बहुत प्रतिभावान एवं शरारती थे। कई बार शरारतों के कारण उन्हें शाखा से निकाला गया; पर वे फिर जिदपूर्वक शाखा में शामिल हो जाते थे। इस स्वभाव के कारण वे जिस काम में हाथ डालते, उसे पूरा करके ही दम लेते थे।

मैट्रिक की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण कर उन्होंने संघ के संस्थापक डा.हेडगेवार के पास जाकर प्रचारक बनने की इच्छा व्यक्त की; पर डा. जी ने उन्हें और पढ़ने को कहा। अतः1936 में स्नातक बनकर वे प्रचारक बने। प्रारम्भ में उन्हें नागपुर के आसपास का और 1938 में महाकौशल का कार्य सौंपा गया। 1945 में वे पूरे मध्य प्रदेश के प्रान्त प्रचारक बने।

1948 में गान्धी हत्या का झूठा आरोप लगाकर संघ पर प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया गया। संघ के सभी प्रमुख अधिकारी पकड़े गये। ऐसे में देशव्यापी सत्याग्रह की जिम्मेदारी एकनाथ जी को दी गयी। उन्होंने भूमिगत रहकर पूरे देश में प्रवास किया, जिससे 80,000 स्वयंसेवकों ने उस दौरान सत्याग्रह किया। एकनाथ जी ने संघ और शासन के बीच वार्ता के लिए मौलिचन्द्र शर्मा तथा द्वारका प्रसाद मिश्र जैसे प्रभावशाली लोगों को तैयार किया। इससे सरकार को सच्चाई समझ में आयी और प्रतिबन्ध हटा लिया गया।

इसके बाद वे एक साल दिल्ली रहे। 1950 में उन्हें पूर्वोत्तर भारत का काम दिया गया। 1953 से 56 तक वे संघ के अखिल भारतीय प्रचार प्रमुख और 1956 से 62 तक सरकार्यवाह रहे। इस काल में उन्होंने संघ कार्य तथा स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा स॰चालित विविध संगठनों को सुव्यवस्था प्रदान की। प्रतिबन्ध काल में संघ पर बहुत कर्ज चढ़ गया था। एकनाथ जी ने श्री गुरुजी की 51वीं वर्षगाँठ पर श्रद्धानिधि संकलन कर उस संकट से संघ को उबारा।

1962 में वे अखिल भारतीय बौद्धिक प्रमुख बने। 1963 में स्वामी विवेकानन्द की जन्म शताब्दी मनायी गयी। इसी समय कन्याकुमारी में जिस शिला पर बैठकर स्वामी जी ने ध्यान किया था, वहाँ स्मारक बनाने का निर्णय कर श्री एकनाथ जी को यह कार्य सौंपा गया। दक्षिण में ईसाइयों का काम बहुत बढ़ रहा था। उन्होंने तथा राज्य और केन्द्र सरकार ने इस कार्य में बहुत रोड़े अटकाये; पर एकनाथ जी ने हर समस्या का धैर्यपूर्वक समाधान निकाला। 

इसके स्मारक के लिए बहुत धन चाहिए था। विवेकानन्द युवाओं के आदर्श हैं, इस आधार पर एकनाथ जी ने जो योजना बनायी, उससे देश भर के विद्यालयों, छात्रों, राज्य सरकारों, स्थानीय निकायों और धनपतियों ने इसके लिए पैसा दिया। इस प्रकार सबके सहयोग से बने स्मारक का उद्घाटन 1970 में उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति श्री वराहगिरि वेंकटगिरि से कराया । 

1972 में उन्होंने विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की गतिविधियों को सेवा की ओर मोड़ा। युवक एवं युवतियों को प्रशिक्षण देकर देश के वनवासी अ॰चलों में भेजा गया। यह कार्य आज भी जारी है। केन्द्र से अनेक पुस्तकों तथा पत्र पत्रिकाओं का प्रकाशन भी हुआ। 

इस सारी दौड़धूप से उनका शरीर जर्जर हो गया। 22 अगस्त 1982 को मद्रास में भारी हृदयाघात से उनका देहान्त हो गया। कन्याकुमारी में बना स्मारक स्वामी विवेकानन्द के साथ श्री एकनाथ रानडे की कीर्त्ति का भी सदा गान करता रहेगा।

KASHYAPA

KASHYAPA or KASYAPA ,one of the saptrishis or 7 Rishis in hindu tradition.

1) His name is derived from sanskrit word for tortoise . Referring to his ascetic practice of withdrawing himself internally, like a tortoise does with limbs and head.

Kashyapa is also mentioned as the earliest rishi in verse 6.5.3 of Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.

2 ) Rishi Kashyapa is said to have drained the Kashmir valley to make it habitable. 

( In Buddhist texts he is known as KASSAPA in Pali or as Manujshri in Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism )

3) At times, those who convert, revert to Hinduism or have lost the knowledge of their Gotra ( lineage ) are investitured with his name as their Gotra

एक काशी के अनादि योगी बाबाजी की पुकार​!

पेयं पेयं श्रवणपुटके रामनामाभिरामं,

ध्येयं ध्येयं मनसि सततं तारकं ब्रह्मरूपम्।

जल्पन् जल्पन् प्रकृतिविकृतौ प्राणिनां कर्णमूले,

वीथ्यां वीथ्यामटति जटिलः कोऽपि काशीनिवासी॥

peyaṃ peyaṃ śravaṇapuṭake rāmanāmābhirāmaṃ,

एक जटाधारी नित्य काशीनिवासी योगी काशीके गली-गलीमें घुम​-घुमकर वहाँ के मरणधर्मा जीवों को कहता रहता हैं -

'तुम अपने कानके दौनेमें मेरे मुखसे निकलने वालें इस अत्यन्त सुन्दर नाम "राम​" को पीते रहो और हमेशा तारक ब्रह्म के स्वरूपका मन लगाकर ध्यान करते रहो! '

A Yogi with matted locks, who is an eternal resident of Kashi, has been moving around the lanes of Kashi and preaching to all living entities who by nature are subject to death - 

'Drink this blissful name "Rama," which emanates from my mouth through your ears, and always meditate on the divine form of Taraka Brahman!'

The Divine Gardener knows how to deal with you.

Sri Ramakrishna (smiling to Keshab): “You are ill; well, there is a deep meaning in that. There has passed through your body many a deep devotional feeling, that searches the Lord: your illness bears witness to those feelings. Of the havoc done by them to the system, one can form no idea at the time they arise.

A ship goes past over the Ganges, but nobody attends to it. A little while after, big waves are seen, beating upon the bank and sometimes washing away portions of it.

An elephant, entering into a hut, soon makes it totter and at last pulls it down. The love for the Lord is like the elephant in its greatness. It very often pulls down the frail house of clay called the “human body”.

When a house is set on fire, some of the things inside are first burnt up; then the house is taken up as a whole by the fire and burnt. Much the same thing comes to pass, when God is seen. The fire of God-vision first burns up the various passions — lust, anger, etc., then the false ego, which says: “I am the doer (Lord)”; and lastly, the whole house, viz., the body.

You may think: “Let the Lord’s will be done”. But, no, the physician does not leave the patient, until he is perfectly cured. Your name has been entered as a patient in the hospital-books, and you cannot get away, till you are seen cured by the physician in charge (the doctor Saheb). Why did you suffer your name to be so entered? (Laughter.) …

Everything is ordered by Her will. Thou doest Thy will alone, О Mother Divine! Thou doest Thy own work, but foolish man takes all the credit to himself, saying: “It is I, who have done it!”

The gardener knows well how to deal with the common rose and also with the rose bussora, which is of a superior type. As for the latter, he clears the soil round about its roots to give it the benefit of the night dew. The dew adds freshness and strength to the plant. It may be that the same is the case with you. The Divine Gardener knows how to deal with you. He digs round about you to the very roots, to the end that the dew of His inspiration shall fall on you and you shall be purer, stronger than before, and your work even greater and more abiding than ever”.

एक व्यापारी की यह सत्य घटना है।

एक व्यापारी की यह सत्य घटना है।*

जब मृत्यु का समय न्निकट आया तो पिता ने अपने एकमात्र पुत्र धनपाल को बुलाकर कहा कि.. 

बेटा मेरे पास धन-संपत्ति नहीं है कि मैं तुम्हें विरासत में दूं। पर मैंने जीवनभर सच्चाई और प्रामाणिकता से काम किया है। 

तो मैं तुम्हें आशीर्वाद देता हूं कि, तुम जीवन में बहुत सुखी रहोगे और धूल को भी हाथ लगाओगे तो वह सोना बन जायेगी।

बेटे ने सिर झुकाकर पिताजी के पैर छुए। पिता ने सिर पर हाथ रखकर आशीर्वाद दिया और संतोष से अपने प्राण त्याग कर दिए।

अब घर का खर्च बेटे धनपाल को संभालना था। उसने एक छोटी सी ठेला गाड़ी पर अपना व्यापार शुरू किया। 

धीरे धीरे व्यापार बढ़ने लगा। एक छोटी सी दुकान ले ली। व्यापार और बढ़ा।

अब नगर के संपन्न लोगों में उसकी गिनती होने लगी। उसको विश्वास था कि यह सब मेरे पिता के आशीर्वाद का ही फल है। 

क्योंकि, उन्होंने जीवन में दु:ख उठाया, पर कभी धैर्य नहीं छोड़ा, श्रद्धा नहीं छोड़ी, प्रामाणिकता नहीं छोड़ी इसलिए उनकी वाणी में बल था। 

और उनके आशीर्वाद फलीभूत हुए। और मैं सुखी हुआ। उसके मुंह से बारबार यह बात निकलती थी। 

एक दिन एक मित्र ने पूछा: तुम्हारे पिता में इतना बल था, तो वह स्वयं संपन्न क्यों नहीं हुए? सुखी क्यों नहीं हुए?

धर्मपाल ने कहा: मैं पिता की ताकत की बात नहीं कर रहा हूं। मैं उनके आशीर्वाद की ताकत की बात कर रहा हूं।

इस प्रकार वह बारबार अपने पिता के आशीर्वाद की बात करता, तो लोगों ने उसका नाम ही रख दिया बाप का आशीर्वाद! 

धर्मपाल को इससे बुरा नहीं लगता, वह कहता कि मैं अपने पिता के आशीर्वाद के काबिल निकलूं, यही चाहता हूं।

ऐसा करते हुए कई साल बीत गए। वह विदेशों में व्यापार करने लगा। जहां भी व्यापार करता, उससे बहुत लाभ होता। 

एक बार उसके मन में आया, कि मुझे लाभ ही लाभ होता है !! तो मैं एक बार नुकसान का अनुभव करूं।

तो उसने अपने एक मित्र से पूछा, कि ऐसा व्यापार बताओ कि जिसमें मुझे नुकसान हो। 

मित्र को लगा कि इसको अपनी सफलता का और पैसों का घमंड आ गया है। इसका घमंड दूर करने के लिए इसको ऐसा धंधा बताऊं कि इसको नुकसान ही नुकसान हो।

तो उसने उसको बताया कि तुम भारत में लौंग खरीदो और जहाज में भरकर अफ्रीका के जंजीबार में जाकर बेचो। धर्मपाल को यह बात ठीक लगी।

जंजीबार तो लौंग का देश है। वहां से लौंग भारत में लाते हैं और यहां 10-12 गुना भाव पर बेचते हैं। 

भारत में खरीद करके जंजीबार में बेचें, तो साफ नुकसान सामने दिख रहा है।

परंतु धर्मपाल ने तय किया कि मैं भारत में लौंग खरीद कर, जंजीबार खुद लेकर जाऊंगा। देखूं कि पिता के आशीर्वाद कितना साथ देते हैं।

नुकसान का अनुभव लेने के लिए उसने भारत में लौंग खरीदे और जहाज में भरकर खुद उनके साथ जंजीबार द्वीप पहुंचा।

जंजीबार में सुल्तान का राज्य था। धर्मपाल जहाज से उतरकर के और लंबे रेतीले रास्ते पर जा रहा था ! वहां के व्यापारियों से मिलने को। 

उसे सामने से सुल्तान जैसा व्यक्ति पैदल सिपाहियों के साथ आता हुआ दिखाई दिया।

उसने किसी से पूछा कि, यह कौन है?

उन्होंने कहा: यह सुल्तान हैं।

सुल्तान ने उसको सामने देखकर उसका परिचय पूछा। उसने कहा: मैं भारत के गुजरात के खंभात का व्यापारी हूं। और यहां पर व्यापार करने आया हूं। 

सुल्तान ने उसको व्यापारी समझ कर उसका आदर किया और उससे बात करने लगा।

धर्मपाल ने देखा कि सुल्तान के साथ सैकड़ों सिपाही हैं। परंतु उनके हाथ में तलवार, बंदूक आदि कुछ भी न होकर बड़ी-बड़ी छलनियां है। 

उसको आश्चर्य हुआ। उसने विनम्रता पूर्वक सुल्तान से पूछा: आपके सैनिक इतनी छलनी लेकर के क्यों जा रहे हैं।

सुल्तान ने हंसकर कहा: बात यह है, कि आज सवेरे मैं समुद्र तट पर घूमने आया था। तब मेरी उंगली में से एक अंगूठी यहां कहीं निकल कर गिर गई। 

अब रेत में अंगूठी कहां गिरी, पता नहीं। तो इसलिए मैं इन सैनिकों को साथ लेकर आया हूं। यह रेत छानकर मेरी अंगूठी उसमें से तलाश करेंगे।

धर्मपाल ने कहा: अंगूठी बहुत महंगी होगी।

सुल्तान ने कहा: नहीं! उससे बहुत अधिक कीमत वाली अनगिनत अंगूठी मेरे पास हैं। पर वह अंगूठी एक फकीर का आशीर्वाद है। 

मैं मानता हूं कि मेरी सल्तनत इतनी मजबूत और सुखी उस फकीर के आशीर्वाद से है। इसलिए मेरे मन में उस अंगूठी का मूल्य सल्तनत से भी ज्यादा है।

इतना कह कर के सुल्तान ने फिर पूछा: बोलो सेठ, इस बार आप क्या माल ले कर आये हो।

धर्मपाल ने कहा कि: लौंग!

सुल्तान के आश्चर्य का ठिकाना नहीं रहा। यह तो लौंग का ही देश है सेठ। यहां लौंग बेचने आये हो? किसने आपको ऐसी सलाह दी।

जरूर वह कोई आपका दुश्मन होगा। यहां तो एक पैसे में मुट्ठी भर लोंग मिलते हैं। यहां लोंग को कौन खरीदेगा? और तुम क्या कमाओगे?

धर्मपाल ने कहा: मुझे यही देखना है, कि यहां भी मुनाफा होता है या नहीं। 

मेरे पिता के आशीर्वाद से आज तक मैंने जो धंधा किया, उसमें मुनाफा ही मुनाफा हुआ। तो अब मैं देखना चाहता हूं कि उनके आशीर्वाद यहां भी फलते हैं या नहीं।

सुल्तान ने पूछा: पिता के आशीर्वाद? इसका क्या मतलब?

धर्मपाल ने कहा: मेरे पिता सारे जीवन ईमानदारी और प्रामाणिकता से काम करते रहे। परंतु धन नहीं कमा सकें। 

उन्होंने मरते समय मुझे भगवान का नाम लेकर मेरे सिर पर हाथ रखकर आशीर्वाद दिए थे, कि तेरे हाथ में धूल भी सोना बन जाएगी।

ऐसा बोलते-बोलते धर्मपाल नीचे झुका और जमीन की रेत से एक मुट्ठी भरी और सम्राट सुल्तान के सामने मुट्ठी खोलकर उंगलियों के बीच में से रेत नीचे गिराई तो..

धर्मपाल और सुल्तान दोनों का आश्चर्य का पार नहीं रहा। उसके हाथ में एक हीरेजड़ित अंगूठी थी। यह वही सुल्तान की गुमी हुई अंगूठी थी।

अंगूठी देखकर सुल्तान बहुत प्रसन्न हो गया। बोला: वाह खुदा आप की करामात का पार नहीं। आप पिता के आशीर्वाद को सच्चा करते हो।

धर्मपाल ने कहा: फकीर के आशीर्वाद को भी वही परमात्मा सच्चा करता है।

सुल्तान और खुश हुआ। धर्मपाल को गले लगाया और कहा: मांग सेठ। आज तू जो मांगेगा मैं दूंगा।

धर्मपाल ने कहा: आप 100 वर्ष तक जीवित रहो और प्रजा का अच्छी तरह से पालन करो। प्रजा सुखी रहे। इसके अलावा मुझे कुछ नहीं चाहिए।

सुल्तान और अधिक प्रसन्न हो गया। उसने कहा: सेठ तुम्हारा सारा माल में आज खरीदता हूं और तुम्हारी मुंह मांगी कीमत दूंगा।

इस कहानी से शिक्षा मिलती है, कि पिता के आशीर्वाद हों, तो दुनिया की कोई ताकत कहीं भी तुम्हें पराजित नहीं होने देगी। 

*पिता और माता की सेवा का फल निश्चित रूप से मिलता है। आशीर्वाद जैसी और कोई संपत्ति नहीं।*

बालक के मन को जानने वाली मां और भविष्य को संवारने वाले पिता यही दुनिया के दो महान ज्योतिषी है।

अपने बुजुर्गों का सम्मान करें! यही भगवान की सबसे बड़ी सेवा है....

Master At Dakshineswar And Meeting Rani And Mathur

It was then 1855-56 andGadadhar was only nineteen years of age. One day, the great devotee Mathur, Rani’s son-in-law, having come across him inside the temple, asked Ramkumar: “Who is this young handsome brahmachari?” Ramkumar replied that he was his younger brother. Mathur said that he wanted very much to have that charming young boy stay at the temple. Ramkumar doubted if he would ever agree. Mathur just listened, but did not say anything on that day. That handsome face, however, was always in his mind and he was feeling increasingly attracted towards him. Due to circumstances, several events occurred simultaneously and one was the arrival of his nephew Hriday. Having his favourite Hriday with him the Master’s joy knew no bounds. The two were together all the time.

Now, since his childhood, the Master knew how to make clay images. In colour and gesture the icon was so exact that nobody could say that it was made out of clay it was as if all alive. … For his own worship, he made an image of Shiva with clay from the Ganga, complete with the trident, damaru, snake ornaments, crescent moon on the forehead, matted locks of hair on the head and the bull as the carrier. … While walking leisurely inside the temple, Mathur came across that Shiva’s image and was astonished. Who knows with what material the Master had created the image, it appeared that Shiva had come down from Kailasa in person. … Mathur took the image and at once rushed to the Rani’s place. In great wonder, Mathur said to her: “Where can one find out the maker of this exquisite image? Through our great fortune, he is right inside the temple and is no other than the handsome younger brother of the priest of Mother Kali. He is of tender age, and almost appeared to be a brahmachari, his very look captivates the mind. I strongly believe that if he could be persuaded to stay here as Mother Kali’s priest, in a short time, he could awaken Mother’s spirit in the deity. This is my firm conviction”. … 

Quickly, Mathur came outside and found that the Master and Hriday were pacing leisurely in the courtyard. He sent a message that he wished to talk to them. But the Master did not want to meet Mathur since he knew he would request him to stay at the temple. Mathur sent repeated requests and all were ignored by the Master. Ultimately, Mathur appealed to Ramkumar and, on his elder’s order, the obedient younger brother, accompanied by Hriday, who was like the shadow behind the tree, came to see Mathur. Seeing the Master, Mathur rose from his seat and then taking him aside respectfully requested him to assume the duties of the priest. The Master opposed, saying that the process of worship of a deity was indeed a veritable source of trouble, because one has to be always responsible for the costly ornaments and other articles of worship. However, he said, that if Hriday agreed to stay to help him, then he would agree to accept the proposal, however difficult the task might be. Mathur, overjoyed, immediately agreed to appoint Hriday. ...

During his visit to America, one day Swami Vivekananda was found unconscious near a lake in the cold city of New Hampshire. When a gardener saw him lying lifeless, he ran and informed everyone about Swami Vivekananda 's sudden demise. Mr. Leggett, Sturges and MacLeod reached there in no time and tried in many ways to resuscitate him. But all attempts proved in vein. Even the doctors gave their verdict - 'Swamiji ji's pulse has stopped; he might have left his human garb....' However, amidst all that confusion and tension, Swami Vivekananda got up and sat with a normal disposition. Actually, he had entered the state of 'Nirvikalpa Samadhi.' His apparently unconscious state was misapprehended by people as death. Thereafter, Swami Vivekananda carried out several experiments on the subject of meditation over himself and also made others undergo the same. In times to come, the same place enriched with the vibrations of meditation become famous as one of the historical spots, known by the name of "The Thousand Island Park (Sahastra Deepodyaan)".
