SHUBH ANNADA EKADASI
When the great king Harischandra was undergoing much suffering and separation from his family, Gautama Muni beheld his plight and compassionately advised him to observe Annada Ekadasi, which was coming in seven days' time. He promised that if the king faithfully followed the vrata, his troubles would be eliminated. And indeed that is what happened. This is the grace and kindness of our acharyas and rishis, which turns us toward Iswara anugraha which is ever flowing if only we catch it. On our part, we just need sincerity and willpower to follow Dharma.
